We are committed in training our instructors on how to conduct classes according to the standards of American Heart Association.

Course PrerequisiteHave a current AHA BLS Instructor card, a current AHA ACLS Provider card.

Complete the ACLS Instructor EssentialsThis AHA online course must be completed before attending the classroom ACLS Instructor course. (Included in the fee).

Complete the NIHE ACLS Instructor OrientationThis is a mandatory online course that must be completed before the Instructor candidate may attend the classroom portion of the ACLS Instructor course. (Excluded in the fee).

Complete the classroom ACLS Instructor CourseThis course covers the curriculum, administration, and management of an AHA ACLS course. This can now be done live in a classroom or virtually.

MonitoringMonitored student teaching at the ACLS Instructor Course. This can now be done live in a classroom or virtually.

AffiliationAffiliate with an AHA Training Center.

Note: You must have a current AHA BLS Provider card to attend this class. This class is open to all who want to become AHA BLS Instructors. When you complete all of the course requirements incuding class attendance, student teaching, and Training Center affiliation (all included) you will be eligible to teach all AHA CPR and first aid courses and skill evaluations. . We book our instructors based on our student registrations in order to maintain mandatory AHA instructor/student ratios. Therefore, you must give us 30 days written notice to reschedule or cancel any class in order to receive a full refund minus a $50 service charge. Please send all requests for a refund to Pulse Protect CPR & Safety Training. Provider Approved by the California Board of Registered Nurse, Provider #17797 for 8 Contact Hours.
